We create and pass trough hands endless variety of things. People unite
worlds by shaking hands Hands are one of the most ancient symbols of the culture
of the mankind. Parents’ warm hands, master’s hands, hands of a destructor, an
iron hand of the power, God’s hand – a list of epithets is never ending. Even in the
age of high technologies we can say with confidence that almost everything
created by a man is hand –made as even most complicated machines and robots
spring up in somebody’s hands. Making complicated 3-D models on our computers
we still use our hands. One of the earliest artifacts on /Earth is handprints in a cave
in Altamira in Spain. Those handprints are the basis of the concept of the
Belarusian students’ pavilion called “Through hands” where young Belarusian
theatre artists are going to present their first handprints of stage design.
The basis of the composition is the models of the hands of experienced
masters of the Academy and their students who are in fact one whole the hands of
artists .Taking these symbols as a basis the students of the Belarusian State
///Academy of Arts will express their outlook on the modern theatrical art,its role
in our life, their attitude to modern life through their works of art.
